November 13, 2018 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest semiconductors and electronic components, announces a global distribution agreement with Kinetic Technologies, a leading high-performance analog and mixed-signal company focused on developing power management, protection, and interface solutions for mobile, industrial, automotive and enterprise  markets. Through the agreement, Mouser now stocks Kinetic products designed for electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression, LED drivers, Power over Ethernet (PoE) systems, and USB port protection.

Kinetic’s KTA1550 and KTA1552 active EMI and electrostatic discharge (ESD) suppressors offer integrated CMOS technology system-level ESD protection and EMI suppression in Ethernet products, enabling a faster, smoother path to EMC compliance. The dual-channel KTA1550 supports two twisted pair interfaces and is suitable for 10Base-T and 100Base-TX applications (and 1000Base-T applications when doubled). The quad-channel KTA1552 supports four twisted pair interfaces and is suitable for 1000Base-T applications.

The KTD2026 and KTD2027 are small, fully programmable, constant-current RGB or RGBW LED drivers that offer flexible control interfaces. The devices feature a variety of power options for use in a wide range of portable or fixed consumer, industrial and enterprise systems. The LED drivers feature on-chip timing control units, enabling engineers to easily program LED blink rate, fade-in, and fade-out to create unique color lighting patterns.

The AS1113 and AS1114 are single-chip, highly integrated CMOS solutions for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, including functions required for PoE Powered Device (PD) applications. The AS111x devices integrate rectification and protection circuitry, a PD controller, and a DC-DC controller to provide faster response to surge events and limit stray surge current from passing through sensitive circuits. The AS1114 is identical to the AS1113, except the switching frequency is reduced to 190 kHz and the maintain power signature (MPS) feature is disabled. Applications for the AS111x devices include voice over internet protocol (VoIP) phones, wireless LAN access points, security and web cameras, analog telephone adapters (ATA), and point-of-sales terminals.
