The Powercast TX91503 PowerSpot transmitter broadcasts radio waves in the unlicensed 915MHz ISM band for remote power and data to devices that include a Powercast PowerharvestorRF-to-DC converter chip. The 3 W transmitter powers devices when within the PowerSpot charging zone (up to 80 feet), and stops power transmission when no devices are within range. The transmitter can be set to charge for a set period of use using an app.
