In a time of increasing global uncertainties, marked by numerous conflicts and crisis areas, AARONIA AG showcased its latest developments in drone detection and defense at this year’s Enforce Tac in Nuremberg. The exhibition, recognized as a leading platform for internal and external security, took place from February 24 to 26, 2025.
A major highlight at AARONIA’s booth was the presentation of a Mercedes Zetros 6×6. This robust military vehicle impressively demonstrated the capabilities of mobile AARTOS system integration. The Mercedes Zetros is equipped with an AARTOS X9 drone detection system, providing seamless 360° monitoring and becoming fully operational within minutes, completely autonomously. The configuration can be customized and integrated into various vehicle types.
AARTOS DDS offers unique advantages in all mobile and stationary versions compared to competitor solutions. In addition to determining the position and speed of drones, the system also detects another critical parameter—their altitude. It scans the entire frequency spectrum, including simultaneous scanning of different frequencies, enabling the detection of all drones operating with radio signals—even those utilizing frequency hopping. AARTOS provides real-time position tracking of both the drone and its operator. AARONIA’s proprietary RTSA-Suite PRO software plays a crucial role in this process. This powerful real-time spectrum analysis software allows the integration of various hardware components for data evaluation, ensuring simple, efficient, and optimal system utilization.
At the booth, visitors took full advantage of the opportunity to experience the different AARTOS system components and versions live in demo mode.
Given the current global security landscape, many visitors were particularly interested in AARTOS’s electronic warfare capabilities, in addition to its drone detection and defense functions. The system enables real-time monitoring of the entire frequency spectrum from 400 MHz to 6 GHz, making it possible to detect not only drones but also various other signals, including public safety radios (BOS), radar pulses, and remote-controlled systems. The programmable AARTOS 360° Smart Jammer can selectively disrupt
these signals, making it highly effective in electronic conflict scenarios.
Stephan Kraschansky, CEO of AARONIA Austria, emphasizes: “The rising threat posed by drone operations and the growing importance of electronic warfare highlight the need for a comprehensive system that integrates both aspects. With AARTOS, we offer a flexible and powerful solution that enables armed forces and security agencies to respond quickly and effectively to a wide range of threat scenarios.”
