AAEON, an industry-leading provider of edge AI solutions, will present live demonstrations of its embedded AI systems featuring NVIDIA Jetson systems-on-module during NVIDIA GTC, a global conference for the era of AI.

As a sponsor of the conference, which offers over 1,000 sessions and workshops, more than 300 exhibits, talks, and panels hosted by industry leaders, AAEON will demonstrate products from its AI@Edge Fanless Embedded AI System range, as well as debuting its upcoming NIKY-2155-Nano, the company’s first AI Panel PC.

The most ambitious of AAEON’s demonstrations at the event will be a smart city solution featuring the new BOXER-8641AI-Plus, equipped with the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin. This demonstration is in conjunction with FETCi and utilizes AI inferencing to execute license plate recognition for highways.

AAEON will also show the performance boost offered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super Mode, which offers an unprecedented boost in performance of up to 1.7x, granting an increase in AI performance from 40 to 67 TOPs for generative AI through a demonstration using the BOXER-8621AI. The demonstration will leverage llamaspeak from NVIDIA’s NanoLLM library, allowing visitors to the AAEON booth to interactively chat to the model about sample photos provided on the PC.

The final live demonstration will be AAEON’s first AI Panel PC, the NIKY-2155-Nano, which hosts a 4GB NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano module. This application will deploy an object classification model to automatically recognize and log items as part of a smart retail kiosk setup.

One big difference in the products on show during this year’s GTC will be the presence of AAEON’s BOXER-8654AI-KIT, an embedded AI development kit featuring the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, dual MIPI camera support, an Out-of-Band (OOB) management box header, and four LAN ports with optional power boards for PoE.

The BOXER-8654AI-KIT represents the first step in broader adoption of NVIDIA-powered development kits planned by the company in the coming quarter, with AAEON outlining plans to release the NV8600-Nano AI Developer Kit [J柏1] , powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano with Super Mode support, preinstalled Jetson software, and a MIPI camera. In an AAEON first, this NVIDIA-based development kit will be made exclusively available on the UP Shop, illustrating AAEON’s continued dedication to bringing its customers generational improvements in AI development platforms, powered by NVIDIA technology.

Alongside its live demonstrations, AAEON will have a number of its systems featuring modules from across the NVIDIA Jetson Orin lineup on display, including the BOXER-8645AI, which combines the inferencing power of the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin module with support for up to eight GMSL2 cameras. Other featured products include the BOXER-8651AI and BOXER-8623AI, equipped with the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX and NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano, respectively.

“We welcome the opportunity to showcase at NVIDIA GTC, as it provides the perfect opportunity to show our customers how we have been working to align our product roadmap not only with the improvements made to our NVIDIA-integrated hardware, but also how AAEON platforms can be used to leverage the strides made in NVIDIA’s Jetson Platform Services, which greatly improve the potential for development, deployment and management of Edge AI applications across industries,” said Alex Hsueh, Associate Vice President of AAEON’s Smart Platform Division.
