Saelig Company,  has announced Siglent’s SDS5000X HD and SDS5000L series of high-resolution digital storage oscilloscopes, which are available in 4, 6, and 8 channels, bandwidths of 350 MHz, 500 MHz, and 1 GHz, and all having 12-bit ADCs with a sample rate up to 5GSa/s and a maximum record length of 2.5Gpts/channel. Both series employ Siglent’s SPO technology with a maximum waveform capture rate of up to 160,000wfm/s, 256-level intensity grading display function, plus a color temperature display mode. There are nine SDS5000X HD models in 350MHz, 500MHz, and 1GHz bandwidth capabilities and 4, 6, or 8 analog input channels.  There are three SDS5000L models 350MHz, 500MHz, and 1GHz, all with 8 analog channels. Software options for both series include Power Analysis, and Serial Trigger Decoders. Both scope series support remote web control over LAN. A complete SCPI command set over the standard 1000M LAN connection provides fast data acquisition to speed automated test applications.

These oscilloscopes employ an innovative digital trigger system that offers high sensitivity and low jitter, supporting multiple powerful triggering modes including serial bus triggering. Tools such as History waveform recording, Search and Navigate functions, Mask Test, Bode Plot, Power Analysis allow for extended waveform records to be captured, stored, and analyzed. An impressive array of measurement and math capabilities, as well as serial decoding are also featured.

The SDS5000X HD features a 12.1’’ capacitive touch screen that supports multi-touch gestures, with a user-friendly UI design which can greatly improve operational efficiency. 16 digital channels are also optionally available for digital debugging. The SDS5000L is the low-profile, rackmount version of this design, with no display or digital channels. When combined with a 64-channel synchronization distributor (SYN64), multiple SDS5000L modules can be organized as a high-speed data acquisition system with up to 512 channels. It can also be used as a stand-alone oscilloscope when connected to an external display and a mouse.
