Mouser Electronics, the authorized global distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, is now shipping the new CT4022 and CT4032 XtremeSense TMR (Tunneling Magneto Resistance) current sensors from Allegro MicroSystems. The CT4022 and CT4032 deliver superior noise performance and high-precision current measurements for high-voltage, power-dense, clean energy applications.

The Allegro MicroSystems CT4022 and CT4032 XtremeSense current sensors, available from Mouser, measure low-noise magnetic current flowing through an integrated conductor, while rejecting interference from stray external magnetic fields. The sensors are tailored for clean energy systems like heat pumps, solar inverters, and the latest generation of EV chargers, where maximizing power conversion efficiency is critical. Integrated galvanic isolation enables low-side, high-side, or in-line current sensing in applications up to 1000 volts, resulting in highly efficient power conversion, even at light load operation, for superior performance. The CT4022 comes in an 8-pin SOIC package, and the CT4032 comes in an industry-standard 16-pin wide-body SOIC package.

Mouser also stocks the Allegro MicroSystems ACSEVB-MA16-LA16 evaluation board for quick, lab-based evaluation of Allegro current sensors without a custom circuit board. The user must assemble the board with the desired current sensor, as the board does not come populated with an Allegro current sensor.

The Allegro MicroSystems ACSEVB-MA16-LA16 is intended for use with any MA or LA package (16-pin SOICW current sensor).

As a global authorised distributor, Mouser offers the world’s widest selection of the newest semiconductors and electronic components — in stock and ready to ship. Mouser’s customers can expect 100% certified, genuine products that are fully traceable from each of its manufacturer partners. To help speed up the design process for customers, Mouser’s website hosts an extensive library of technical resources, including a Technical Resource Centre, along with product data sheets, supplier-specific reference designs, application notes, technical design information, engineering tools and other helpful information.
