MIC Electronics Ltd has entered into a strategic partnership with Switzerland-based GHS Technologies GmbH to jointly design, manufacture, and supply advanced material handling solutions for the Indian market, beginning with an active client engagement.
The collaboration has progressed into active technical execution following multiple rounds of detailed discussions with a live industrial client. As part of this engagement, comprehensive engineering documentation, including Gerber files, detailed drawings, and component specifications, has been transferred to MIC Electronics for manufacturing evaluation. MIC’s engineering team is currently conducting an in-depth technical review, with a follow-up discussion scheduled to finalise the product approach before progressing to an initial sample order. Upon successful validation and client approval, the partnership is structured to scale into larger commercial supply volumes.
India represents a priority growth market for GHS Technologies, supported by rapid industrialisation, infrastructure investment, and rising demand for precision-engineered material handling systems across automotive, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and energy sectors. The Indian material handling market is projected to grow at over 10 per cent CAGR through 2030, supported by continued investments in infrastructure and manufacturing. Globally, the industry is valued at over USD 200 billion, positioning India as one of the most attractive high-growth markets.
For MIC Electronics, the partnership marks a strategic expansion into the industrial material handling segment, building on its existing strengths in electronics manufacturing, systems integration, and engineering execution. The partnership is backed by an active client mandate, underscoring its execution-led and commercially driven nature.
GHS Technologies brings deep European-standard engineering expertise in material-handling system design, with proven capability to translate complex client requirements into precise technical specifications. MIC Electronics contributes advanced manufacturing infrastructure, engineering evaluation capability, and execution strength, enabling the conversion of detailed technical documentation into high-quality production output within India. The partnership reflects meaningful technical collaboration already underway and is structured around a clear sample-to-scale commercial roadmap. Beyond the initial engagement, both companies are aligned to expand the relationship across additional clients and sectors over time.
Rakshit Mathur, CEO, MIC Electronics Ltd, said, “This partnership represents a significant step in our strategic expansion into the material handling sector. With active client engagement already underway, we are confident in our ability to deliver from sample validation to scaled commercial supply.”
