Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA), the organiser of ELECRAMA, is bringing in another focused show, “DistribuELEC”.

This first of its kind exhibition shall showcase the latest power distribution Equipment & Technology, products & services, ranging from 220V to 33000V. The exhibition is being organized from 23rd to 25th of January 2017 at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, NCR Delhi, India concurrently with INTELECT 2017.

Distribution is the most important link in the entire power sector value chain. As the only interface between utilities and consumers, it is the cash register for the entire sector. However, populist policies combined with high T&D losses have resulted in the entire sector being under severe financial stress so much so that it threatens the success of Government’s objective of 24×7 power for all.

To improve the health of the distribution sector, the Ministry of Power is providing tremendous budgetary support of approx Rs 60,000 crores under the IPDS and DDUGJY schemes to strengthen the urban and rural distribution network. In addition the UDAY scheme and the National Electricity Fund will further improve the financial strength of the DISCOMs.

These Government initiatives will translate into increased demand for Indian Electrical Equipment. It opens up an opportunity for equipment manufacturers to partner with the State DISCOMs to achieve electricity for all.

Specifically, DistribuELEC provides

  • a unique opportunity for equipment manufacturers to showcase their products, technologies and services to utility officials from across the country
  • a B2B platform for machinery, raw material and accessory suppliers
  • an opportunity for turnkey project contractors to show their executional capabilities

IEEMA is already working towards inviting relevant visitors / buyers to the Show which will include Senior officials from the numerous State Distribution utilities, Private Utilities, PGCIL, REC, BIS, BEE, PFC and other relevant organizations.
