Engineered for AI-accelerated edge computing, the iEP-7040E Series harnesses the power of Intel Core Ultra 7 255H/5 225H Processors (Arrow Lake-H), with up to 16 cores (6P+8E+2LPE) and 16 threads. Featuring Intel Arc Graphics and integrated NPU, the series optimizes computer vision, predictive analytics, and real-time automation. Supporting dual DDR5 5600 MHz SO-DIMM memory with capacities up to 96GB and In-Band ECC, the iEP-7040E Series ensures high-performance AI inferencing with energy-efficient computing at the edge.
Versatile I/Os, Expansions, and Configurations
Designed for seamless industrial integration, the iEP-7040E Series features a compact, fanless footprint: 55 x 170 x 134 mm (W x H x D) for the Basic and 8DIO SKUs, and 68 x 170 x 134 mm (W x H x D) for the PoE, 5LAN, and 5G SKUs. For I/Os, the series offers three RS232/422/485 serial ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 ports, one USB 2.0 port, and one line out/mic in port. It includes three 2.5GbE Intel i226-IT LAN ports, with the PoE and 5LAN SKUs adding two additional 1GbE Intel i210-AT LAN ports. The POE SKU further supports two IEEE 802.3AF PoE ports for efficient power delivery. The 8DIO SKU features 8-channel digital I/O with 3KV sink/source isolation for industrial automation, while the other SKUs provide 4-channel digital I/O. The series also supports one HDMI 2.0b port and one VGA port, providing high-quality output for AI driven vision applications. For expansion, the iEP-7040E Series supports one M.2 Key B (3042/3052) for 4G LTE/5G modules, one M.2 Key E (2230/2260) for Wi-Fi/BT modules, one M.2 2280 Key M for storage, and one microSD slot.

Optimized for high-speed industrial connectivity, the iEP-7040E Series supports 4G LTE, 5G (in 5LAN-5G, 5G-WIFI SKUs), Wi-Fi 7/6E (available in Basic, PoE, 5LAN-WIFI, 5G-WIFI, 8DIO SKUs), and Bluetooth 5.4 RF options. The RF and Antenna setup includes seven SMA connectors for Basic and 5G SKUs and five SMA connectors for PoE, 5LAN, 8DIO SKUs, with one Nano SIM card slot, ensuring robust connectivity. Built for ruggedness and power efficiency, the series operates within a temperature range of -25°C to 50°C, with high shock and vibration resistance for reliable performance in harsh conditions. It offers wide power supply options ranging from 9/19-36V DC, and includes power protection features like OVP, UVP, OCP, and 80V Surge Protection. Mounting options include wall, VESA, and DIN rail, offering flexibility for various applications.
