TimesTech: How is AXISCADES developing its capabilities in margin-accretive segments like wiring harness, software testing, ADAS, and software-defined vehicles?

Mr Arun: We are taking steps in this direction through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. A key move was acquiring Germany-based add-solutions GmbH, which has strengthened our presence in Europe and America by leveraging the company’s partnerships with major global automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. The company brings to the table an extensive expertise in automotive design and development, particularly in electrical distribution system engineering, software testing, and automation—all factors critical for advancing in ADAS and software-defined vehicles. Integrating add solutions’ knowledge and clientele with AXISCADES has boosted our market penetration and competitive edge. Additionally, Mistral Solutions’ acquisition has added niche competencies in automotive electronics and ADAS, which creates a great synergy to address the industry requirements comprehensively. We are also investing in new technology trends beyond our traditional mechanical engineering focus to meet the rising demands in the automotive sector, especially in EV and SDV domains. Our efforts aim to maintain strong relationships with marquee clients, ensuring consistent, high-quality service. These strategic moves are expected to drive significant revenue and margin growth, aligning with our vision of becoming a leading global engineering solutions provider.

TimesTech: How is the strategic alliance with EPCOGEN strengthening AXISCADES’ presence in the global energy sector?

Mr Arun: Our strategic alliance with EPCOGEN is significantly enhancing our presence in the Middle East and North America. This acquisition enhances our capabilities in oil and gas, refineries, petrochemicals, and renewable power. EPCOGEN’s expertise in climate-conscious emission control, including tail gas treatment plants for refineries and long-duration energy storage solutions, aligns perfectly with our growth objectives.

We anticipate substantial growth in the Middle East, expecting to secure large contracts in carbon capture, sulfur capture, and large gas storage plants. This region, currently contributing 3% to our revenue, is forecasted to be a key market, with opportunities in oil and gas likely to persist for the next 5-7 years before transitioning towards green energy. Moreover, we are venturing into hydrogen projects and other green energy initiatives, positioning us well to capitalize on current trends in the oil and gas industry.

Through EPCOGEN, we are also activating new revenue streams and accessing marquee clients in the energy markets. Our strategic partnership extends beyond market penetration, enabling cross-selling opportunities and significant diversification benefits. As North America is a leading market for energy engineering services, this alliance also strengthens our presence there, where the sector is experiencing robust growth.

TimesTech: How is AXISCADES Technologies embracing Industry 5.0 to merge digitalization with traditional manufacturing processes?

Mr Arun: Industry 5.0 emphasizes worker wellbeing and sustainable resource utilization. It involves humans working in harmony with robots to refine and improve manufacturing processes, augmented by AI, smart systems, big data analysis, IoT, and automation. We have proactively adopted these principles, integrating a human-centric approach, resilience, and sustainability into our operations. This transition represents a shift of approach and priorities from purely economic value to social value and from welfare to overall well being. Our focus is on leveraging the dynamic collaboration between humans and machines to transform the manufacturing industry. By doing so, we are fostering an environment that prioritizes human contributions and sustainable practices. We recently implemented a COBOT related project for one of our Aerospace clients, and believe that the future of manufacturing lies in this synergy between human creativity and technological advancement, driving both innovation and sustainability.

TimesTech: How is AXISCADES revolutionizing the semiconductor segment in terms of design, manufacturing, and testing processes?
