TimesTech: Calcom Vision integrates ESG principles into its operations. Can you share specific examples of how these principles are driving sustainability, particularly with your energy-efficient BLDC fans and solar lighting solutions?

Abhishek: At Calcom Vision, ESG principles drive our commitment to sustainable growth and responsible manufacturing. We prioritize energy-efficient products, waste reduction, and the use of renewable energy to minimize our environmental footprint. We operate a Green Campus. We have over 500 trees in and around our factory to offset our Carbon footprint. Our business is powered by a 525 KW Rooftop Solar Plant that drastically reduces our dependence on the grid. We have also swapped all fans with our homegrown BLDC technology to reduce our Electricity load. Initiatives such as Rain Water harvesting and use of PNG in case of Power failures have been very successful and a positive step towards environmentally friendly practices. We are an ISO 14001:2015 certified company.

By aligning our efforts with India’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, we are further supporting the transition to green and sustainable manufacturing, thereby enhancing both environmental stewardship and economic impact.
