23 Sept., 2019 – Energy and environment have always been and will continue to be closely linked in technology, development and other aspects of human life. In India, Energy and Environment have become two major topics of discussion and in order to address the same, a society called ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) is hosting a conference called URJAVARAN. Hidden within the name of the conference is a special meaning. As a combination of Urja (Energy) and Paryavaran (Environment), the URJAVARAN Conference is one of a kind, a unique event to understand the impact of energy on the environment.
Mr. Vikram Murthy President ISHRAE said, “URJAVARAN is a framework to open a line of discussion between industry leaders engaged in energy efficiency effects on the environment. Through this year’s conference, we plan to focus attention on the Healthcare and Hospitality sectors of our Industry.”
The panel of experts at the URJAVARAN conference 2019 will share knowledge and ideas of the HVAC industry with all those associated, directly or indirectly, to find out what is new in the industry and how it will help the environment. The conference will take place in 28 Indian cities and 4 international cities.
The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), was founded in 1981 at New Delhi by a group of eminent HVAC&R professionals. ISHRAE today has more than 28,780 HVAC&R professionals and Student-members. ISHRAE operates from 41 Chapters and sub Chapters spread all over India, with HQ in Delhi. It is led by a team of elected officers, who are members of the Society, working on a voluntary basis, and collectively called the Board of Governors.
