The AP43776Q is an automotive-compliant* USB Type-C power delivery PD3.1 multi-port, multi-protocol, decoder for the standard power range (SPR), 3.3V~21V, programmable power supply (PPS), Quick Charge QC5 fast charging, and the legacy battery charging (BC) 1.2 protocols dedicated to power source applications.

Each PD 3.1 port is fully PPS compliant, featuring a 3.3V to 21V output voltage range with 20mV/step and 50mA/step adjustment resolution for optimal battery thermal management.

I2C interface and GPIO pins are available to facilitate multi-port independent output voltage applications with built-in smart power sharing firmware. Using the UART interface, two separate AP43776Q devices can be interconnected, so that smart power-sharing may be conducted across all four of their combined USB ports.

The AP43776Q supports DisplayPort Alternate mode by decoding the CC pin handshaking and via I2C controlling the SS data switches. It is supplied in a 20-pin W-QFN4040 wettable flank package format (4mm x 4mm footprint).
