HCLFoundation which drives the corporate social responsibility agenda of global technology company HCLTech in India,conducted the second HCLTech Grant Pan-India Symposium 2024 Edition X at Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences Patna, Bihar on the theme ‘Non-Communicable Diseases and Challenges in Rural India: HCLTech 2024 in Patna: Advancing Social CSR Strategies for Change’.
With an intent to strengthen sustainable rural development in the country, the HCLTech Grant Pan-India Symposium series provides a platform for social purpose organizations including NGOs, civil society organizations, etc., to network and exchange ideas and learnings.
The HCLTech Grant Symposium 2024 was inaugurated in Chennai,HCLTech 2024 in Patna: Advancing Social CSR Tamil Nadu and witnessed a total of over 350 NGOs discussing various aspects of the 10 years of CSR Law.
The symposiums will subsequently be held in Bhubaneshwar, Shillong, Hyderabad, Udaipur, Dehradun and Delhi in the ensuing weeks.

The HCLTech Grant Symposium 2024 series aims to raise awareness of the HCLTech Grant among NGOs. Edition X of HCLTech Grant India will provide funding of ₹16.5 Crore (~$2.2 million) to nine NGOs, HCLTech 2024 in Patna: Advancing Social CSR selected through an independent, robust and democratic process. The grant will commit to ₹5 crore for a four-year project in each category. Additionally, a grant of ₹25 lakh each is given to the other two finalists in each category for a one-year project.
