IBASE held the opening ceremony of its Pingzhen factory in Taiwan. IBASE’s partners and customers were invited to attend the ceremony to witness this historical moment. The Sanchung and Hsinchuang factories have been in operation for many years. The company purchased the Taoyuan Pingzhen factory. It has a land area of 12,056 m2 and a building area of 18,384 m2. The factory mainly produces industrial motherboards, embedded systems, panel PCs, digital signage players, network appliances, and various ODM and JDM products.
“In recent years, many companies have gradually shifted focus overseas due to cost considerations. IBASE still insists on staying in Taiwan for its global business strategy. IBASE continues to invest in Taiwan to expand its local manufacturing capacity.” said C. S. Lin, chairman of IBASE.
The IBASE Pingzhen Facotry is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 standards. It plans to implement an “energy and facility monitoring system” in June 2023 to monitor and analyze various conditions such as temperature, humidity, lighting, air conditioning, heating equipment, as well as other energy and power usage data, gradually implementing energy-saving technologies and carbon reduction.
