India and France join hands for deeper space collaboration

The Indian Space Association organized the Day 1 of the 2nd edition of the Indian Space Conclave 2023, is currently taking place from 9th-11th October 2023 at the Manekshaw Center in New Delhi. The annual three-day event is dedicated to nurturing innovation, collaboration, and forging strategic partnerships within the rapidly evolving space sector.

The conclave is being graced by eminent dignitaries from the French and Indian Space industry such as Thierry Mathou, Ambassador-Designate of France to India; Astronaut Thomas Pesquet from ESA; Stéphane Vesval, SVP Sales and Marketing, Airbus Defence and Space; Governor Shekhar Dutt, SM (Retd), Former Governor of Chhattisgarh, Defence Secretary and Deputy National Security Advisor; Jayant Patil, Chairman, Indian Space Association; Lt. Gen. AK Bhatt (retd.), DG, Indian Space Association.

The event also witnessed the signing of the MoU between ISpA and GIFAS, the French Aerospace Industries Association which is aimed to enhance the understanding of space industry capabilities and increase awareness of business opportunities in France and India.
