As 5G rolls out in India unlocking new possibilities and opportunities, MediaTek, semiconductor company powering nearly 2 billion connected devices a year and the exclusive 5G Partner for India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022 reiterated its commitment to the ‘Design In India’ initiative, by empowering Indian ecosystem for 5G enabled advanced technologies. With its focus on ‘Design in India’ in line with Aatmanirbhar Bharat, the company announced a strategic collaboration with Invendis, an Indian ODM, to roll out 5G and Wi-Fi router solutions at IMC. The Silbo range of Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 routers powered by MediaTek chipsets is completely indigenous offering from Invendis aligned with the Government push for “Vocal for Local” products.
The Lava ‘Blaze 5G’ powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset was launched on the sidelines of IMC 2022. The 5G smartphone offers Indians accessible 5G technology and an all-around smartphone experience.

- Design in India zone – showcases technology prowess and benefits that 5G and other new-age technologies will unleash across sectors with product line-up across brands like Invendis, Relesys, Tessolve, Eldass, Libre and MoMagic, among others.
- Smartphone zone – included the latest devices powered by flagship 5G chipsets – MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ and Dimensity 9000. Some of the devices on display included brands like Asus, Vivo, Redmi, Samsung, Realme, Oppo, Lava, OnePlus, Redmi, Infinix, Motorola and Poco.
- Smart Home Zone – product line-up included smart TVs, tablets, wearables, smart clocks, routers, Chromebooks, home automation, set-top boxes, surveillance products, indoor and outdoor CPEs from across brands including Amazon, HP, Sony, Lenovo, Xiaomi, Quectel, Fibocomm, PV Technologies, Realme, Relesys, PayTm, VVDN, Libre, Kent, Byju, Proscend, Zyxel, Arcadyan, FII, Quanta and RuRuTek, among others.
