New Delhi: Continuing the momentum to ensure the mass market shift to EVs through its platform, powered by Smart Battery Swapping, Mooving recently announced its partnership with Shadowfax. Now, rider partners can easily subscribe to EVs owing to this partnership with a seamless experience through the Shadowfax Super App.
With the Battery Swapping model, EV consumers will now have the option to replace their depleted batteries with freshly charged ones at Mooving Battery Swap Stations. For the past 1(one) year, Mooving has collaborated with Shadowfax in Bangalore and Delhi NCR to provide vehicles for their Last Mile Delivery riders under the Vehicle As A Service (VAAS) Model, which is powered by Swapping, as the key element. By 2024, Shadowfax Technologies aims to move 75% of its fleet to electric vehicles. They further plan for a transition to a hundred percent electric movement by 2026.

As part of their joint objective, Mooving and Shadowfax have partnered to support the adoption of EVs by 10,000 of its rider partners utilising the VAAS Model, powered by Battery Swapping in 8 Metro cities. This will be deployed over the next 12 to 15 months. Further, using Heat Maps data, Shadowfax and Mooving will be designing EV deployment and swap station deployment for maximum uptime and worry-free Rider Partner Experience.
Additionally, on its platform by the end of FY24, Mooving hopes to deploy 50,000 E2W powered by a smart battery swapping network to provide consumers with the freedom to travel as far as they wish without having to stop for recharging. Mooving is aiming at a well-positioned setting to dominate battery swapping and is further investing in R&D for the next version of smart batteries and its complete EV Product Stack.
