NOVOSENSE Microelectronics, a semiconductor company specializing in high-performance analog and mixed-signal chips, will debut its AEC-Q100 qualified smart cockpit solutions for the first time in Europe at PCIM 2025, including the NSDA6934-Q1 Class D audio amplifier and the NSHT30-Q1 temperature and humidity sensor.

The NSDA6934-Q1 is a high-efficiency, four-channel Class D amplifier with digital input, delivering up to 75 W per channel. Specifically optimized for external power amplifier application, it addresses key automotive audio challenges by dramatically reducing audio path latency by over 70% via its unique low-latency mode. This enables more processing time for DSP-based features such as Road Noise Cancellation (RNC), while also reducing computational load.

With support for up to 192 kHz sampling rates and multiple modulation modes, including BD and 1SPW, the amplifier adapts to both high-output and low-power scenarios, making it highly flexible for compact, space-constrained cabin designs.

The NSDA6934-Q1 is also highly configurable and supports adjustable switching frequencies from 384 kHz to 2.1 MHz, allowing engineers to optimize for efficiency and size constraints. The amplifier incorporates multiple EMC optimization techniques through spread-spectrum techniques, slew rate and phase control, facilitating easier compliance with automotive EMC standards.

Complementing the audio system will be the NSHT30-Q1, a highly integrated temperature and humidity sensor that plays a vital role in environmental sensing for enhanced passenger comfort and system reliability. With digital I2C output and automotive-grade resilience, the NSHT30-Q1 helps maintain climate control precision within the increasingly sensor-dense architecture of intelligent defogging and vehicle cabins.

By combining powerful signal processing components with compact form factors and robust protection mechanisms, NOVOSENSE’s smart cockpit solutions offer engineers a practical pathway to support the shift toward software-defined, sensor-rich vehicle platforms.
