The DA14533 SoC features 64kB RAM, 160kB ROM, and 12kB of one-time programmable (OTP) memory. An integrated low IQ buck converter accurately adjusts the output voltage according to system requirements and remains active in sleep buck mode. The DA14533 SoC reduces the engineering bill of materials (eBOM) and simplifies development, requiring just six external components and featuring a single external oscillator (XTAL) for active and sleep modes. Delivered in a WFFCQFN 22-pin 3.5 x 3.5 mm package, the DA14533 is one of the smallest automotive Bluetooth SoCs on the market and an ideal choice for space-constrained systems. The DA14533 SoC is also AEC-Q100 Grade 2 automotive-qualified with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, ensuring reliable performance in harsh automotive and industrial environments. The SoC works with coin-cell batteries and includes built-in AES encryption and decryption, true random number generation (TRNG), and debug features.
Renesas Electronics Corporation offers DA14533 development tools to evaluate the device’s performance. The DA14533-00RNDEVKT-P pro-development kit includes a pro-motherboard, which features a USB port to provide power and for interfacing with a PC running the evaluation software. The pro kit also includes a pro-daughterboard with a pre-mounted DA14533 SoC and an embedded antenna. The pro-daughterboard is also sold separately as DA14533-00RNDB-P for users who already have the pro-motherboard.
