Bangalore-based S R Aerospace, a leading innovator and manufacturer of high-performance propulsion systems, has achieved a significant milestone by securing certification from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL) for its high-performance propellers. This accreditation makes S R Aerospace the only Indian UAV component manufacturer to receive such a distinction.
S R Aerospace is led by former NASA engineer Shreya Rastogi, an aerospace engineer, licensed pilot in the United States, and entrepreneur with nearly a decade of experience in advanced composites and aviation technology. A dual-degree holder in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, she combines a dynamic vision for India’s aerospace industry with a commitment to empowering women.
Designed with precision and tested under stringent conditions, these propellers optimize UAV performance by enhancing flight endurance, stability, and thrust efficiency. With this achievement, S R Aerospace is setting new industry benchmarks, ensuring that Indian-made UAV components meet global aerospace standards.
