Mercom Capital Group has named the top global large-scale solar PV developers in its current study. The analysis examined just those developers who have projects in at least two countries from July 2020 to June 2021. 2021 Leading Global Large-Scale Solar PV Developers is the title of the report. With 4.95 GW of operating capacity, the Italian conglomerate Enel Green Power dominates the global solar PV industry. Adani Green Energy of India comes in second with a capacity of 4.91 GW. Engie, a French firm, is third on the list with a 3.47 GW operational capacity.
The Asia-Pacific (APAC) area accounted for around 24% of the top ten worldwide solar developer capacity, while North America accounted for approximately 18%, and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) accounted for approximately 20%. Around 38% of projects were located in Latin America.
