The Amphenol Industrial TS1 series, available from Mouser, is a sealed, high-voltage, high-current power connector platform designed to help designers deliver reliable electrification in harsh environmental conditions. Built for demanding duty cycles, the TS1 series is intended for high-power electrified and hybrid applications experiencing elevated thermal, mechanical, and electrical stresses. TS1 is built to support those realities with a rugged mechanical design and shielding features intended to help protect critical power links.
This high-voltage, high-current power connector platform helps engineers route power between batteries, inverters, PDUs, DC-DC converters, pumps, and drives, especially in environments where shock, vibration, and exposure can challenge connection integrity. These connectors include 8mm contacts rated up to 200A and 12mm contacts rated up to 450A, giving designers flexibility across a wide range of high-current architectures. The TS1 12 mm connectors are rated up to 2000 VDC, and the 8 mm versions are rated up to 1500 VDC, for high-voltage architectures. They accommodate 35 mm² to 120 mm² cables, including versions with individually shielded conductors.
The TS1 series is also well-suited for applications that require reliable power delivery while managing electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by high-frequency switching devices. With a metal-shell design and sealing system, TS1 connectors achieve IP6K9K ingress protection, suitable for road spray and high-pressure washdown. They are rated for up to 500 mating cycles and validated to withstand 20G vibration and can operate over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range, making them appropriate for both under-hood and chassis-mounted applications.
