Advanced Energy Industries, a global leader in highly engineered, precision power conversion, measurement, and control solutions, at the 2026 Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit announced three new M-CRPS power supplies capable of delivering up to 3600 W with power density of over 100 W/in3. These power supplies are OCP-compliant.
The CSU M-CRPS Series supplies are designed for data centers, AI, and enterprise compute, as well as storage, networking, and telecom workloads requiring high-density power architectures. The new power supplies extend the series’ maximum output power and power density, giving system architects a scalable upgrade path based on the same chassis and mechanical design across multiple power levels.
Advanced Energy’s latest M-CRPS products comprise the 3600 W CSU3600AT-9-3M0 and two 3200 W power supply units (PSUs): the CSU3200AT-3-6M0 and CSU3200ADC-3-3M0.
- The CSU3600AT-9-3M0 addresses demand for higher-power 54 V architectures.
- The CSU3200AT-3-6M0 supports 12 V output architectures for AI and data center applications.
- The CSU3200ADC-3-3M0 delivers 3200 W at a 12 V output for DC-input LVDC-powered telecom and OCP +48 V busbar infrastructure.
“The newest additions to Advanced Energy’s M-CRPS portfolio combine high power density, cybersecurity features, and proven reliability in a compact 185 mm form factor,” said Conor Quinn, Advanced Energy’s Vice President, Marketing for High Volume Products. “The portfolio includes solutions optimized for next-generation AI and data center platforms and mainstream compute and networking applications, as well as models compatible with traditional telecom infrastructure and OCP +48 V busbar rack architectures.
“Combined with our global manufacturing footprint, technical expertise, and long-term support capabilities, these products can help reduce integration risk, simplify platform development, strengthen supply continuity, and accelerate time-to-market.”
The AC-input PSUs are certified to 80 Plus Titanium standards, and the DC-input model delivers a peak efficiency of 94%. These new power supplies combine excellent thermal performance, proven reliability, and an ultra-fast transient response time to meet the needs of demanding AI, CPU, and GPU workloads. Advanced Energy has also incorporated advanced cybersecurity and firmware security features into the power supplies.
