EESL Sign MoU with BSNL for 1000 Public EV Charging stations

New Delhi, 18 Feb, 2020 – Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has signed a MoU with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to set up 1,000 public charging stations for electric vehicles.

EESL will set up public charging stations in 1000 BSNL sites. EESL will invest the entire advance on the operation and maintenance of the charging infrastructure as well as services related to the MoU using qualified personnel. BSNL would be responsible for providing the requisite space and power connections to install the charging infrastructure.

EESL has installed 300 AC and 170 DC chargers across India. So far, 66 public charging points are currently operational in Delhi-NCR. EESL signs MoU with Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Noida Authority, Chennai Metro Rail Corporation Limited, Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and Commissioner, Director of Municipal Administration, New Town Kolkata Development Authority and Kalinga University Raipur (Chhattisgarh) have done. Public charging stations in their respective areas.
