3 May, 2019 – Farnell, the Development Distributor, will be presenting a range of its latest technologies at Electronics of Tomorrow (EOT) 2019 in Herning, Denmark at the MCH Messecenter, Stand M9746.

Visitors to the stand can view a range of new and popular products for design engineers and a wide range of technologies from leading suppliers. The Farnell stand will also feature an interactive competition where visitors can play logic and creative games, with two Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaners to be won as prizes.

Recently launched products displayed on stand include:

  • Avnet SmartEdge Agile: Learn how AI at the edge can help you to deploy predictive maintenance in an industrial environment, with real-time monitoring and analysis to predict useful run-time and prevent failures and downtime.
  • HanHaa Symbisa: Learn how the Symbisa sensing kit combined with a GSM modem and secure global communication network allows development of a truly plug-and-play global mobile sensing solution that displays data directly into an Excel worksheet.

Technical experts will be on stand to advise customers how they can accelerate their time to market by utilising the latest technologies, insights and support from Farnell. Visitors will also be able to discuss the benefits of accessing the unique ecosystem of support provided by Farnell as part of the Avnet organisation – from its maker to market service and full design and manufacturing support, to scaling for volume production.

Visitors can also find Farnell at EOT’s MakerChain area. Farnell has been a key collaborator on the MakerChain area at EOT, which shows the fun, creative and innovative concepts that the maker environment can offer. Visitors can experience the technology of the future hands-on at MakerChain by meeting those at the forefront of the maker community and trying these new technologies with their own hands. Farnell will be offering a demonstration on SBC, showing how the Raspberry Pi can be used to turn an innovative idea into a fully operational product.

Ghita Hoyer, Regional Sales Manager for Nordics at Farnell said: “At EOT 2019, Farnell will be displaying new, exclusive and market leading technologies that will help design engineers, start-ups and established businesses bring their products to market faster than ever before. We have invested significantly in inventory over the last eighteen months and Farnell customers can now access our largest range of technologies, all ready to ship same day from our warehouses in the UK and mainland Europe. We look forward to meeting with customers on stand to discuss how working with Farnell could help them achieve their goals.”
