Genrobotics has strengthened its global presence with a new contract awarded by PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency. This contract focuses on the research and development of advanced robotic systems specifically designed for the cleaning of sedimentation tanks at PUB’s water reclamation plants. The contract was awarded after winning one of the three challenge statements put out under the 4th edition of PUB’s Global Innovation Challenge (GIC4), reflecting the potential of the solutions for deployment to support used water treatment operations in Singapore.
The current contract is centered on a dedicated research & development project designed as a Proof of Concept for both Genrobotics and PUB to demonstrate and evaluate whether Genrobotics’ solutions can effectively clean sedimentation tanks while navigating operational challenges such as obstacles in the tanks.
Due to contractual obligations, Genrobotics will not be able to share any specific commercial details (e.g. contract value) or technical specifications related to this contract; any articles or videos currently in circulation do not represent the nature of the contract nor any future plans for PUB on the deployment of robotic solutions.
