Magnachip has introduced its eighth-generation 150V MXT MOSFETs, which are designed for Light Electric Vehicle (LEV) motor controllers and battery management systems (BMSs). Magnachip’s eighth-generation trench MOSFET technology can lower RDS(on)2 by 28%, as compared to the previous generation. MDT15N054PTRH is available in a surface mount device TO-Leadless (TOLL) package to reduce product size and improve heat dissipation. Fast switching also improves energy efficiency while allowing for high power density. Furthermore, a guaranteed operating junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C is provided.
