Milestone Systems, a world leading provider of video management and analytics, is proud to announce participation in the state visit to France, led by Their Majesties King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark and President Emmanuel Macron of France. In Paris, Milestone signed an ambitious collaboration with French Wintics on developing AI models and analytics for e.g. public safety. The two have a strong track record, working together at the Paris Olympics in 2024. The signing underlines the commitment and willingness to contribute to building European resilience within the industry and across borders.

“Europe has a long history of building partnerships and collaborating across cultures. Today, this is as important as ever. It is the ability to create something together that defines our success with driving technological advancements. This visit is a testament to our shared ambition, and we are honored to join Their Majesties King Frederik and Queen Mary on this significant state visit to France,” said Thomas Jensen, CEO at Milestone Systems.

New, ambitious MoU signed with French partner Wintics

As part of the historic event, Milestone Systems has participated in a signing ceremony to formalize a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its French partner, Wintics – a startup with an impressive track record in AI-driven video analytics.

Already, the two companies have a proven track record of utilizing the close ties between Denmark and France. Throughout the Paris Olympics in 2024, they worked closely together to use both Milestone Systems’ VMS software and Wintics’ AI-driven analytics to protect spectators, citizens and athletes.

With the signing of the MoU, Milestone and Wintics will join forces to develop and train current and future AI models for public safety, security and mobility management.

“We share the same vision: AI-powered cameras will be a tremendous tool to build safer, more comfortable, and more sustainable public spaces. But above all, we share the same values—this revolution can only happen through the emergence of transparent and ethical technology. Our collaboration with Milestone Systems has been a natural fit for a long time, with remarkable joint achievements. I am delighted to strengthen our partnership and accelerate our efforts, unlocking an immense potential ahead,” says Matthias Houllier, CEO of Wintics.

Based on Milestone’s latest announcement together with NVIDIA on “Project Hafnia” – the world’s first regulatory compliant platform for visual AI model training – the parties will work closely together to develop and research responsible ways to apply and develop AI models for real-world use cases.

“Delivering innovative, responsible solutions that make people and societies safer and more prosperous is at the core of what we do – both in Milestone and Wintics. AI-driven analytics have the compelling potential to achieve just that, and I am both proud and excited to accelerate this promising partnership with the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding. There is no doubt that together, we can make an even greater impact,” says Thomas Jensen.

The state visit takes place in Paris, France, and is attended by key dignitaries, industry leaders, and media representatives from both Denmark and France.
