nasscom is set to host its 2024 edition of Technology & Leadership  Forum (NTLF) under the banner “Shaping the Techade” on February 20th and 21st at the Jio World  Convention Centre, Mumbai. With the growing impetus on artificial intelligence (AI) and its  applications across businesses, and societies globally, this year, the forum aims to explore the future  landscape of technology with a spotlight on the hyper-democratisation of AI, bringing together global  thought leaders from diverse sectors to engage in pivotal discussions about the trajectory of  technological advancement and its implications.

As leaders worldwide discuss the importance of measuring ROI on data, compute, and talent,  alongside balancing innovation with environmental and ethical considerations, NTLF 2024 will delve  into how AI is revolutionizing industries, emphasizing the need for businesses to adapt to significant  changes and adopt AI across various sectors swiftly. The forum will address the growing interaction  between humans and machines, emphasizing the need for organizations to nurture qualities that  define exceptional human leadership. Discussions will focus on how AI can be used as a tool to  enhance, rather than control, human capabilities, addressing the ethical challenges and leadership  roles in ethical AI practices and at the same time aim to reevaluate the skills needed in the GenAI era  and strategies for building a resilient, future-ready workforce.

Sharing her views, Debjani Ghosh, President, nasscom, said, “2024 unfolds as the pivotal year where  AI has transitioned from the initial phase of excitement to the ‘valley of reality’ with a focus on creating  tangible human impact. Those who strategically embrace and integrate Generative AI early are likely  to position themselves as frontrunners in this dynamic and evolving industry. At NTLF 2024, we aim to  navigate this future with foresight and responsibility, ensuring that innovation serves humanity’s best  interests and fosters a world where AI is recognized as an avenue for advancement rather than solely  a source of risk.”
