On the occasion 15 August Ola Electric plans to introduce its first electric vehicle, by 2024. This automobile is loaded with features it will have a range of more than 500 kilometres and the potential to accelerate to an incredible speed in under four seconds, albeit not much else has been published about it. Along with its own batteries, the business also debuted the new S1 scooter. Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO and co-founder of Ola, thinks that the company’s Ola Future plant will usher in an EV Revolution in the Indian market by eventually producing one million Electric Vehicles.
Aggarwal said, “We deserve a car that defines this new India. An India that is fearless and believes in writing its own destiny. Our car is going to be one of the fastest cars in India. 0 to 100 within 4 seconds, it will have a range of more than 500 kilometres per charge. It will be the sportiest car ever built in India, with an all-glass roof, it will have Move OS and assisted driving capabilities as good as any other car in the world. It will be keyless and handleless.” Tata, claims that its compact electric SUV ‘Nexon’ has a range of 437 kilometres which can attains a similar speed in about 9.4 seconds. But Ola Electric Vehicle is yet to be revealed.
While its launch is scheduled for 2024, Aggarwal says that the Ola Electric car will support a futuristic-looking design. To know more about the product’s specifications and features we must wait a while.
