29 Aug, 2019 – At the 27th International Defense Industry Exhibition, MSPO taking place in Kielce, Poland, from 3 to 6 September 2019, R&S will present their information superiority, situational awareness and spectrum dominance technology portfolio at booth E55. As Poland continued to modernize its armed forces, R&S showed strategic scenarios on all areas of the battlefield, as well as unified communications for EW/SIGINT (Electronic Warfare/Signal Intelligence) systems.

Poland’s modernization agenda calls for new surface ships and submarines. Rohde & Schwarz is up for this challenge with its operationally proven R&S NAVICS integrated communications system for internal and external communications on board all classes of ships. Stationary and mobile voice terminals ensure uninterrupted communications everywhere on board the ship. The system is fully IP based, allowing the integration of further communications services such as Video-over-IP (VoIP), broadcast, alarm functions and shipborne telephone systems.

Addressing the country’s land-based platform requirements, a holistic system solution that provides government customers with a secure, high-performance network architecture based on state-of-the-art hardware and software, is SOVERON, creating digital sovereignty and technological independence, scalable and modular according to customer requirements and wishes. For these SDRs, the company has designed high data rate, anti-jam waveforms to match diverse mission requirements. For every communications scenario, users can select the waveform and encryption that best suit their requirements in terms of range, data rate and jam resistance.

As a leading supplier of EW/SIGINT solutions worldwide, Rohde & Schwarz is THE One-Stop-Shop for reliable and field-proven EW. The independent company offers a broad product portfolio, e.g. optimized for detecting, recording and analyzing modern communications signals (COMINT). The systems showcased in Kielce are designed to handle challenging signal scenarios and have already been field-proven by numerous armed forces in the world. Able to intercept, geo-locate and analyze state-of-the-art modern LPI signals and multifunction radars with complex signal structures, the company’s ELINT concept is focused on operator usability and functionality.

Rohde & Schwarz’ systems are modular and scalable and can be deployed on a variety of platforms. The company offers jamming technology for hostile command chains and solutions for analyzing cellular networks, the latter widely deployed by law enforcement and government agencies, armed forces and regulatory authorities worldwide. Also presented is a counter-uas solution that provides reliable drone detection and countering capabilities even under challenging signal scenarios. The modular and scalable systems can be deployed on a variety of platforms and are in operation in the field.

“Poland is very important to Rohde & Schwarz and there are a number of opportunities we are working towards with our Polish partners,” says Franz Büchsenmeister, Managing Director, Rohde & Schwarz Österreich, explains. “With Poland being a strategic market for us, MSPO is an excellent opportunity to showcase our solutions and technology and meet with decision-makers on various levels, both from the military and from government, as well as with industry. Rohde & Schwarz is ready to support local BMS and vehicle modernization programs.”

Rohde & Schwarz will showcase its secure communications and intelligence portfolio at MSPO 2019 in Kielce, Poland on booth E55.
