Greenway Mobility, a new-age Indian EV Company, introduced E-Vi, to revolutionize the Indian electric three-wheeler market by 2025. The launch of E-Vi, Greenway Mobility’s flagship brand, will consist of two state-of-the-art electric mobility solutions — Chhota Otto and Chhota Bull. The brand is aiming to release its products to the market by the 4th quarter of FY24, while also launching Rydan, a high-speed passenger electric rickshaw to provide reliable, technologically advanced and cost-effective green mobility solutions in urban & rural India.
Through the introduction of E-Vi, Greenway Mobility has adopted an ambitious expansion project to establish over 100 dealerships in strategic markets across India by the end of this year. This aggressive growth strategy closely corresponds with the brand’s foundational goal of becoming a market leader in the electric three-wheeler segment by December 2025. Driven by a completely indigenous designing and manufacturing process, E-Vi’s products address Indian road conditions, offering a tailor-made solution for Indian customers. With a competitive launch price of INR 2 lakh for both the Chhota Otto and Chhota Bull, the company is setting a new benchmark in India’s rapidly growing three-wheeler EV market. By incorporating L5-grade components into L3 vehicles, the firm offers unmatched durability and performance, aiming to establish itself as a market leader in this transformative segment.
Mr. Siddharth Patel, Founder, Greenway Mobility, and an IIT Bombay and Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management alumnus, shared his objective behind the launch, saying, “India needs mobility solutions that are not only sustainable but also robust and reliable enough to meet the demands of both bustling cities and rural landscapes. Through E-Vi, our aim extends beyond electrifying India’s three-wheeler mobility, but creating a robust distribution channel with strategic partners to ensure unprecedented growth, driven by quality and excellence. We are establishing strategic industry collaboration to supplement this entire ecosystem to benefit the end use — addressing concerns like accessibility, nationwide service network, affordable financing options, swappable batteries and charging networks.”
Mr. Harsh Raval, Founder, Greenway Mobility, believes the state-of-the-art technologies of E-Vi will transform how three-wheeler mobility is perceived in India, saying, “At Greenway Mobility, we have engineered every aspect of E-Vi vehicles to ensure they excel where others falter. Our goal is to provide vehicles that drivers can trust — vehicles that empower them to do more, go farther, and achieve greater success. Maintaining quality is of utmost importance to us and we are sourcing components from only the top Indian suppliers. With our growing portfolio of electric vehicles, we are shaping the future of mobility.”
Greenway Mobility is open to entering into strategic collaborations with relevant partners and distributors to advance its ambitious goals. Its indigenously designed and manufactured three-wheelers emphasise quality, versatility and low maintenance to set new benchmarks in durability, performance and efficiency. The firm is presently undertaking significant R&D efforts to include electric bikes, trikes and Compact Electric Cars — with an objective of catering to personal and professional mobility requirements. Spearheaded by similar foundational goals, the firm is looking to enhance user enthusiasm to ensure long-term success.
The Chhota Otto comes equipped with independent suspensions on all three wheels to achieve enhanced stability and comfort, along with foldable seats to convert passenger space for transporting cargo. Meanwhile, the Chhota Bull has been designed for last-mile delivery in rough terrains. It is capable of handling a massive 400-kilogram payload capacity and boasts hydraulic brakes and IoT-enabled fleet management for real-time tracking and efficiency.
Greenway Mobility will also be launching Rydan, a high-speed passenger electric rickshaw with unprecedented performance and futuristic features, ranging from hydraulic disk brakes on all wheels to multi-speed automatic transmission and many more. It will offer several industry-first features, along with an increased range and gradability.
