Semiconductor Fabless Accelerator Lab (SFAL) is delighted to announce the addition of Banashree Renewable Energy System to its esteemed list of incubatees. Banashree is developing innovative System On Chip (SOC) Solutions, has also established itself as an Intellectual Property (IP) vendor for SFAL, presenting groundbreaking Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Enhancement solutions for startups within the SFAL ecosystem.
Banashree’s success exemplifies the strength of the Indian Semiconductor Ecosystem, showcasing startups supporting one another in enhancing the intellectual property incubated by the Government of India in SFAL, as part of the Atmanirbhar Bharath initiative. In addition to serving various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and Defence and Space customers, Banashree has extended its expertise to top Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) startups, and Fabrication facilities (Fabs).
The company has achieved a significant milestone by creating India’s first Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Solution and the world’s first Custom Libraries, enhancing the Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) of any SOC.

The company, having received a patent for its work, is well-positioned to develop custom libraries exclusively to serve these critical sectors.
In the semiconductor vertical, Banashree is actively engaged in developing advanced datapath architectures to achieve optimal PPA for SOCs, particularly those used in Renewable Energy Systems. The company has demonstrated its technology from 180nm down to 7nm Technology Nodes, making it a key player in the field. With a focus on reducing power and lowering costs for datapath-intensive ICs, Banashree’s unique silicon IP significantly improves silicon efficiency, complementing current design methodologies without compromising on performance.
The company has successfully completed proof-of-concept stages with leading multinational and Indian customers, such as SCL, Xilinx, Infinera, Open-Silicon, Saankhya Labs, Rambus, and Avatar Design Automation.
