Gautam Solar, a leading name in India’s renewable energy sector, inaugurated a new warehouse in Bangalore at its “Gautam Solar Tech Workshop and Press Conference” held in the city on 6th August, marking a significant step in expanding its reach to South India. This strategic move aims to provide the region with advanced solar technology and power assistance, further solidifying Gautam Solar’s commitment to driving India’s emergence as a leading solar hub.
With a storage capacity of 5000 sq. ft., expandable to 10000 sq. ft., the new warehouse will cater to the solar needs of Karnataka market, ensuring efficient distribution and accessibility of high-quality solar panels to other major cities like Belgaum and Tumkur in addition to capital Bangalore.
The launch is particularly important as it will allow project developers, EPC companies and system integrators in Karnataka quicker access to Gautam Solar’s recently launched TOPCon Solar Modules. Locally manufactured and adherent to international standards, these solar panels highlight India’s growing prowess in renewable energy technology.
Mr. Gautam Mohanka, CEO of Gautam Solar, expressed his enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, “Expanding into the South Indian market is a pivotal moment for us. Our new warehouse in Bangalore results from our team’s united dedication to bringing positive change and technological advancements to the region. We are focused on providing state-of-the-art solar solutions to benefit the communities here, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future for all.”
Among the Top 10 Indian solar module manufacturers, Gautam Solar also showcased India’s growing prowess in solar manufacturing industry at the event, in an effort to counter a negative bias against Indian technology in comparison to global standards.
As for its other achievements, Gautam Solar has demonstrated strong financial stability and growth. A recent CRISIL rating report assigned the company a ‘CRISIL BBB+/Stable’ long-term rating and a ‘CRISIL A2’ short-term rating, reflecting its solid financial standing and operational capabilities.
Additionally, the company recently launched two whitepapers, one about addressing the challenges of extreme weather conditions on solar panels and the other for supporting solar developers and manufacturers in adhering to the stringent criteria of the PM-KUSUM scheme, reinforcing the company’s aim to advance India’s renewable energy sector.
