Test and Measurement (T&M) Instruments are very important part of product development, manufacturing lifecycle.  These T&M can be broadly divided into two parts….Benchtop T&M and Handheld T&M.

Handheld Test & Measurement instruments usage is increasing day by day. Handheld test & measurement equipment finds use in a wide range of applications sometimes they are used in lab and most of times they are meant for field use. These Handheld Analyzers are used for wired and wireless communication and other measurements as well. Some reasons behind success of Handheld Test & Measurement instruments are

Performance of handheld T&M are very good and there is no compromise in measurements.

VNA Master MS2038C

Anritsu VNA Master which is combination of Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) and Spectrum in single unit is very popular in many sectors such as education, defence, aerospace and telecom etc.   Anritsu Spectrum Master MS2720T is other very popular Spectrum Analyzer with many other functions to meet telecom industry demand such as WCDMA Demodulation, , LTE Demodulation, AM FM Demodulation  including interference testing.  External Power Sensor makes this VNA master as power meter. Such features enable low investment and high return since you do not need to carry many instruments.  VNA Master with Vector Voltmeter Option helps engineers to maintain ILS which helps aeroplane safe landing. In order to meet telecom industry demand for latest 5G telecom technology, Anritsu introduced Field Master Pro MS2090A.

Anritsu’s Field Master Pro MS2090A real time spectrum analyzer delivers performance never previously available in a compact, handheld instrument. With continuous frequency coverage from 9 kHz to 54 GHz, the Field Master Pro MS2090A is specifically designed to meet the test challenges of a full range of other wireless technologies in use today, including: 5G, LTE, wireless backhaul, aerospace/defense, satellite systems, and radar.

Ruggedized for field use, all versions provide a comprehensive range of features to speed and simplify measurement, as well as enhance usability. RTSA spans of 22 MHz (standard) to 110 MHz (optional) provide capability for cellular interference monitoring to full ISM band signal analysis. In addition to being a full span swept tuned spectrum analyzer, all versions include a spectrogram display that helps monitor the RF spectrum for intermittent or interfering signals. Integrated channel power and occupied bandwidth measurements simplify the measuring and characterizing of common radio transmission. IQ data capture of 5G frames enables the capture and saving of IQ data for off-line processing on a PC using standard data analysis tools.

Anritsu Network Master Pro MT1000A is 10G/100G Analyser with OTDR combination making it suitable for many telecom operator, Data Centre, System Integrator and Network Equipment Manufacturers (NEM) used for network monitoring, maintenance work. While Anritsu Network Master MT9090A is a palm size OTDR, 1G Ethernet Analyser. Tis operates with normal AAA cell and make it best choice for many applications and areas where charging facility is not available.

Easy and Efficient On-site Tests

Field engineers range in experience from veteran professionals to complete novices. During on-site testing they set the measuring instruments and make connections according to the operation manual, sometimes with varying results based on experience. To solve this issue, the MT1040A has a built-in SEEK function that performs tests in accordance with the contents of the operation manual. Using SEEK, the MT1040A itself automatically sets the parameters, makes the measurement, saves the results, and performs the Pass/Fail evaluation to assure efficient work and consistent results.
