TimesTech- Your business models and strategies to be upfront in the EV space?

When it comes to the products, we are solely a primary research-based organization. We conduct our surveys and research and then rely on them to make a market-ready product. I am proud to say that we are an agile company, and based on our continued and ongoing research, our products are taking on the market and fulfilling the customers’ demands.

TimesTech- Your R&D strength and manufacturing capacity?

We have manufacturing plants at Mandideep, Bhopal, and Uppal, Hyderabad, totaling 60,000 square feet and producing 60000 vehicles each year. By 2022, we want to be 100 percent local, and we’re working on a homegrown lithium-ion battery unit.

TimesTech- As already major automobile players are dominating the two-wheeler segment, what keeps you ahead of the curve, your USP?

With the presence of major automobile players dominating the two-wheeler segment, there are plenty of new entrants in the EV industry who are doing so well. Enigma has made it’s mark in the industry within short span of time. We are known for its quality products and customer service, we build products according to our customers needs and specifications and source out quality raw materials. Also, we won’t shy away from saying that we have in-house designs, and engineer the motor in our way as we have technical expertise. Enigma offers removable batteries which makes it easier for the customers to charge anytime anywhere.

TimesTech- The Indian market for Enigma Automobiles?

The electric vehicle sector is booming and has a bright future ahead of it. Enigma has set its mark in the industry and has seen rise in the sales, we have cumulative sales of past 4 months in August and we are set to keep on repeating the same. We’ve already begun discussions with an Australian company about developing new graphene batteries for the Indian market. Companies like ours are determined to break prejudices and bring about a revolution that will redefine the stratosphere of the Indian automobiles segment, thanks to the emergence of affordable technology, rising infrastructure, and government-sponsored initiatives.

TimesTech- Maintenance, after sales and key components extended to customers while it becomes a valuable customer of Enigma Automobiles?

It is a less understood fact that any two-wheeler Electric Vehicles maintenance is negligible if one follows the basic protocol. To take that through, we have created several Youtube Tutorials and a series of ‘How To’ features, educating them. The after-sales service is our strength and among our core competence. To build those seamless operations, all in our dealer network have to complete a week’s training programme where they are given in-depth knowledge and are trained with required technical inputs.

TimesTech- Creating value proposition and expectation from the Indian Govt.?

Enigma already has three successful models launched in India and within short span of time we are bridging the gap between us and the consumers. Whilst we provide the best of technologically advanced, feature-rich, and inexpensive e-scooters. Our company offers value for the price and that’s we are best in what we do. As the EV industry is growing, Indian government is stepping ahead and contributing to upcoming brands like us. For example, the amount sanctioned under the CGT SME scheme for smaller enterprises comes with a time-consuming procedure, making the entire process lengthy. But, certainly, things are changing, and we anticipate various schemes, such as the recently announced PLI plan, that will assist aggressive businesses like ours. Electric vehicles have begun to penetrate the Indian market, thanks to government’s as they are also actively promoting it. However, one of the most important needs for India’s rapid adoption of electric vehicles is adequate charging infrastructure. Given the current situation and rising levels of awareness and uptake, manufacturers and governments should work together
