DigiKey, the global distribution leader of electronic components and automation products, is sponsoring and participating in the 2026 Hackaday Supercon, a global event that will bring together hardware hackers, makers and tech enthusiasts Nov. 6-8 in Pasadena, Calif. Throughout the event, DigiKey team members will highlight technologies that enable innovation, rapid prototyping, embedded development, robotics, open-source hardware development and STEM education.
“DigiKey is proud to continue supporting the global hardware hacking, engineering and maker communities through its sponsorship and participation in Hackaday Supercon 2026,” said Kevin Walseth, senior manager, technical engagement for DigiKey. “We are committed to empowering innovators with the products, technical resources and expertise they need to turn ideas into reality.”
On-site DigiKey experts will assist attendees in selecting parts for hacking challenges and answer technical questions. The company will also donate a selection of components for use with this year’s conference badge, which will be revealed before the conference starts.
DigiKey will also partner with industry leaders and influencers to host interactive workshops that provide hands-on engagement with hardware, open-source projects and new technology. This includes Shawn Hymel’s Reinforcement Learning for Robotics workshop, which covers how to build a robust agent and transfer a policy trained in simulation to a physical robot.
What is Hackaday Supercon?
Now in its tenth year, Hackaday Supercon is a three-day event featuring hacking, learning and connecting with others in the maker space. Attendees can take part in workshops, participate in hacking challenges and connect with fellow innovators. The event is held at Supplyframe’s DesignLab.
